Hi there, my name is Alexis & I'm your photographer!
I’ve called Colorado home for the past 13 years after moving here from Alaska, and it’s where so much of my life has taken shape. I’m a mom to four boys—the reason I first fell in love with photography and still my most patient (and most photographed) subjects.
Before deciding to open the Wood Coop Studio, I spent years working in the tech world alongside my family photography. Along the way, photography grew from a creative outlet into something much more meaningful. As a self-taught photographer, I’ve developed my style through experience—learning how to capture genuine moments while helping people feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me staying active, working on a home project, or spending time with my family and our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs.
I truly love connecting with people—turning clients into familiar faces is what makes this work so special to me.
